Which scenes do you think the characters look their best or their worst?

Someone mentioned that in The Fight, Jim looks flushed and like he has red lipstick and makeup on. I heard it was really hot that day so maybe that's why.

In the confrontation scene in Boys and Girls, shot through the blinds, both Jim and Pam are incredibly good-looking. And Pam's not even smiling. Jim looks very tall for some reason.

Of course Pam looks really good on Casino Night.

On Halloween she is VERY cute as a cat...especially the scene where she's smiling at her desk watching Jim pretend to be Michael on the phone.

Jim is so extra cute in the Dundies. When Angela comes to pick Pam up and Pam tells Jim that she wants to ask him a question. He looks so cute while he is waiting for her to ask him a question.

Also in Casino Night, Jim has such a cute expression when he is playing poker with Pam. Pam makes a gesture with her hands as if to say, "Maybe I'm bluffing, maybe I'm not" then Jim squints his eyes and peers at her as if he's trying to read her mind. Too cute!

Jun 15th 2006

E-mail Surveillance when Jim shrugs during his karaoke performance and Pam laughs at him - they both look so happy and adorable.

Hot Girl when Jim is behind reception with Pam doing the play-by-play of Dwight's manbag purchase. I like his bangs longer and they are almost in his eyes in this episode.

Who can argue JAM don't look their best during the Drug Testing Hey/Hi exchange? I can't help but grin from ear to ear when I watch that scene.

Jan looks amazing when she smiles a genuine smile, which as we know is somewhat rare. In The Client, when Michael closes the deal, she simply glows. By the way, may I have your bone structure, please, Melora?

And Michael has his moments; thought he looked very attractive at home on Halloween in casual clothes answering the door for the kids.

Jun 15th 2006

I love Pam's look when Jim puts puts the fabric softener in the cart... I've watched the few seconds when she nods her head and says "No, I do" about a hundred times! So adorable!

Sometimes Michael looks downright handsome, and sometimes he looks old, and sometimes he looks like a doofus. I can't remember the exact scenes.

Angela can likewise go from cute to not.

Pam bobbing her head making fun of cheerleader Katy (Booze Cruise) is ADORABLE.

  • I think Jan's hair was better in the earlier shows. I think she has gotten less attractive over this last season because of the hair.
  • Dwight looked the worst when he had bleached his hair blond, but it was awesome all the same.
  • Michael looks better now that he is thinner and doesn't have that hair-plug look.
  • BJ looks better the wider his eyes open.
  • Jim looks the cutest when he is making a face. He is way adroable when he's aping the look that pam gives him when they are playing poker. The eye roll thing.
  • Toby is always adroable.

Pam in Casino Night - WOW. Nothing more needs to be said. Especially in the poker scene and the beginning of the parking lot scene when she does the flirtatious shoulder shrug/sway thing.

I don't think much of Angela on the show but off the show she is pretty attractive. Jan doesn't do much for me, Kelly's OK.

Just another thing that makes the show great is that none of them are drop-dead beautiful people. They look like people you would actually work in an office with.

Jun 15th 2006

Michael's rugged good looks come from his very symmetrical face.

I actually kinda thought the Pat-Riley-slicked-back hair was pretty cool. Better than the Fantastic Sam's cut. But I'm a guy, so what do I know? :)

Jun 15th 2006

I think Jim is the hottest on the booze cruise all bundled up in his winter coat! Especially during the infamous 27 seconds of silence and his pep talk with Michael. Or any time he's wearing a sweater (bbq at his house or casino night).

And I love how everyone got glammed up for Casino Night!

Jun 15th 2006 edited

I love Jim in sweaters too, specially with the sleeves pushed up showing off his manly - yet sensitive - forearms. It's always interesting to see everyone away from the office and in civilian clothes...

Jun 15th 2006

I enjoy Jim in gym shorts, personally.

  • Kelly is always cute, I dunno how more people haven't mentioned it.
  • Michael looks awesome on The Secret when he puts his hair down like Jim.
  • Phylis (sp) is hillarious in Conflict Resolution, "Is that a disguise? Clown Paint."

What episode is the title of this thread from? I can't place it.

Jun 16th 2006

Drug Testing. Jim makes the comment to Dwight who is dressed in his sheriff's uniform and Dwight responds "Thanks, girl."

Jun 16th 2006

Kevin's Halloween costume...hilarious

I think, whether glammed up or dressed down, Pam is easily the best-looking of the bunch.

Absofruitly!

John Krasinski's a pretty good-looking guy, but there was one talking head in the pilot -- "Do I think I'll be invited to the wedding?" -- where I just wasn't feelin' it. His neck seemed too fat, or something.

Jun 17th 2006

John Krasinski is definitely my favourite Office fella - in a sweater, gym shorts, a feed sack.... Oh, mama. And he cleans up nicely when he's off set, too.

If pressed, I'd have to admit that I also think Rainn Wilson is adorable, but only when he's not in his Dwight duds. He's got the uber-geek thing going on with his real glasses. Honestly, I don't know what gets into me sometimes.

All the gals are adorable. I wish I were half as lovely as they are.

Jun 17th 2006

Hi JAMtastic! That used to be my old username, same capital letters and everything.

Jun 17th 2006 edited

Hey Dump Roy! I like your new handle -- I have to agree with the sentiment. Now if we only knew how it will happen....

I'm new to this whole posting thing, but my love for The Office knows no bounds. I'm willing to stop lurking for this show.

Jun 17th 2006

I love all of Angela's hairstyles. I have long, straight hair too and keep trying to figure out how to do that braid thing. Anyway, I have counted at least 10 different hairstyles from Angela. My favorite hairstyle of her's was on Valentines Day. There was something simplistic and very beautiful about it.

I also have such a crush on John Krasinski. Mmmm.

Jun 17th 2006

The bright sunshine of "The Fire" made everyone a little squinty and unflattering, especially Michael and Roy.

When Jim says "Not a bad day" at the end of "Diversity Day" he looks a little like Tobey Maguire--not a good or bad thing, just something I always notice.

I've often thought that it must be weird to be an average person who suddenly finds himself on a network TV show, and then discover that there are Internet message boards in which your neck is described as being too big. What a surreal experience that must be :-)

Jun 19th 2006

Loaded Teapot, you're totally right. I can't imagine scores of people analyzing what my neck looks like in certain fashions. (Or any other body part for that matter. Ick.) That's why celebrity makes certain types of people into frightening, narcissistic creatures. If you're a relatively stable person (as I hope our beloved JK is), you'd try like hell to keep it real. There's nothing more revolting than someone who believes his own hype.

I saw a really funny bit in an interview with JK. He said his brothers and friends at home teased him mercilessly about the People Sexiest Man Alive article he was in. Apparently, they kept asking him if he needed his makeup touched up as they played pick-up basketball. Those are the kind of people you keep around you to make sure your head still fits through the door. Good on 'em.

Dwight moments:

1.) For some reason, in the Pilot Episode, I absolutely adore his hair. It's a lot more volume-y than the later episodes.

2.) The Client--After the camera guy wakes him up, there is this moment where he makes this glare at the camera, and in that instant, he looks deliciously annoyed. (I am pretty sure I am the only one that feels this way.)

Pam moments:

1.) I agree with the Halloween thing. She looks so cute.

2.) I like her hair in the first season. It's darker and just very pretty.

Angela moments:

1.) I liked her hair in Drug Testing and any other time she just had a headband in her hair. It looked so elegant.

Jim moments:

1.) He has really good hair in the Pilot Episode and Booze Cruise.

Michael moments:

1.) For some reason, Dwight's Speech sticks out as being his episode for nice hair and general attractiveness, but then again, I am in love with Steve Carell, so my personal opinions could be shadowing.

Roy moments:

1.) For some reason, I just thought he looked really good in "Sexual Harassment" when he came up to get Pam and her mom.

Dwight in Basketball. Shirts vs. Skins, anyone? Not a coverboy moment.

Loved it.
