You have only to Google to find out if I'm telling the truth.

Jun 23rd 2013

I have now listened to parts of two songs on Kanye's newest album Yeezy. They weren't my kind of music. I really don't understand what all the fuss is about with him. But I didn't understand what all the fuss was about with Radiohead either back when everything you read about them was about how they basically were the greatest thing to happen to music since Queen or Pink Floyd or maybe even the Beatles. I mean, I liked Karma Police, but I couldn't tell you another song on OK Computer. I don't know what either Kanye or Radiohead has done that has separated them so much from their contemporaries, and has caused so many music critics to fall prostrate at their feet.

He named his kid North West. That's reason enough to hate him.

Jun 23rd 2013

He exposed George Bush's black-people hating ways.

Jun 23rd 2013

I think he's a delusional jackass, mostly. I kind of like the music, but I can't handle his lyrics.

Anyone who would create life with a Kardashian is dead to me.

Hahaha. You're dead, Kanye.

Jun 24th 2013

He's just dead to VG. Upon hearing the news, Kanye wept.

Jun 24th 2013

I'm sure he would be utterly devastated.

You just don't get it, man...;-)

I was big into Radiohead around the time of OK Computer, I went back and got the first album and The Bends (which is probably better than Computer, if I say so). For years I was an insufferable jerk about how great Radiohead were and how they were so much better than anything else out there in rock and/or pop music. Then Hail to the Thief came out and sucked balls. In Rainbows was worth getting when it came out, but I definitely would be hard-pressed to subject myself to more than one or two Radiohead songs at a time nowadays.

Just remember how mad he got when people kept saying he was gay because he liked fish dicks...

Jun 24th 2013

I've never forgiven him for what he did to Taylor...

Jun 24th 2013

I did not care for Ed Sheeran's first big song (the one about the crack whore). The song where he sings about building a Lego house, though? And has the kid from Harry Potter in the video? I kinda like it a lot.

He let her finish, though ;-)

Surprised she didn't write a f-ing song about it :-p

Hey Toos, looks like MISS got to meet the drummer of the Avett Brothers. Are you super jealous?

Jun 26th 2013

I'm super jealous. Of her. (And him.) They're both awesome.

Crap. MISS is going to see this. I'm only jealous of her.

Jun 26th 2013

So, MISS just called me from the concert and I sent her to voicemail. The game was going to be that I guess what song was playing. It's the worst message I've ever heard. It's like on Ghost Hunters and a "ghost" is recorded.

Here it is. I promise, this is how it sounds on the voicemail, too. My recording of it is really good. Her recording of the show is really bad.

Thanks for thinking of me, MISS!

Jun 27th 2013

Aw, that was an awesome try, MISS.

Jun 27th 2013

All around the world statues crumble for me
Who knows how long I've loved you
Everywhere I go people stop and they see
Twenty five years old, my mother God rest her soul.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII just wanna fly.

Annnd you're welcome.

Jun 27th 2013

Not cool, bro.

Jun 27th 2013

It just came on the internet radio I'm listening to. And I knew you'd all want that earworm for the rest of day, so I shared.

Jun 27th 2013

earworm

This phrase is more distasteful to me than having 100 Justin Beiber songs stuck in my head all day.

Jun 27th 2013

I don't know if that's true. I think I would rather have a real worm in my ear, squirming around in the ear canal, digging into my brain.

Jun 27th 2013

And I knew you'd all want that earworm for the rest of day, so I shared.

That is worse than hard core pornography.

Oh, yeah. I forgot. You do have a brood of little girls. I bet you have to listen to Justin Beiber all the time.

Jun 27th 2013

That is worse than hard core pornography.

As are most things.

Jun 27th 2013

Hahaha.

Jul 2nd 2013

I put the Vampire Weekend back in my CD player this weekend, I really love this song: Hannah Hunt

Jul 8th 2013

Hi y'all! I'm just back from a whirlwind Avett Brothers tour. Three concerts in eight days, each of which was better than the previous. I'm not going to bore you with all the details (Toosie can attest to my wordiness), but I do want to say that if you EVER have the opportunity to see this band live, do yourself a huge favor and go. Just go. You will not regret it, I promise. Their live performances are the most incredible thing I've ever seen. JUST GO!
