I think the best part of 40 Year Old Virgin was seeing it when it came out. It was definitely of its time.

That Age of Aquarius is just meant to reflect his weird 70s warped idea of virginity and losing it. Mr. A laughed. I think you had to be there. The 70s that is.

I have only made it halfway through Wine Country for reasons already repeated. I do love the cast.

We enjoy the Bo Burham at this house and are looking forward to Eighth Grade. It won awards and stuff.

Haven’t watched a lot of movies lately though. Too much good TV to watch.

It was definitely of its time.

It didn't feel like it to me, I guess, because I've seen several other Apatow movies, and it was like, "Oh, that guy's in this?" "And her?" And it felt like the same old gang... and I prefer Role Models.

The 70s that is.

I'd need a time machine!

That there Always Be My Maybe picture on Netflix sure was cute. That is all.

Jun 10th 2019

Good! I saw that suggested on my Netflix, by my Netflix. I considered it, but wasn't sure I wanted to spend the time watching it. (I watched that Carrell movie over 2 days...) but maybe I'll give it a chance.

saw that suggested on my Netflix, by my Netflix.

How does that even work?

Almost as thrilling as Daoust’s scrotal procedures—Bloodsport is on. Thought y’all needed to know.

Oct 10th 2019

Always an important update. Of course I read it a day late.

Oct 15th 2019

It'll come around again, much like Daoust's junk.

I know these are dark, trying times and everyone is stressed. Please, please, take comfort in the knowledge that Bloodsport is on Netflix.

Nov 3rd 2020

I’m so going to watch Bloodsport today to take my mind off of all of this.

I'm doing an 8-hour cooking project and watching all the classics on HBO I never got around to before (Z, How Green Was My Valley, one or two others).

Nov 3rd 2020

Hmmm. What takes 8 hours to cook?

I love classic movies.

Hey, we didn't die! But we still might. So besides obvious classics like Die Hard, are there any Christmas movies y'all can recommend? Preferably on Prime (Starz, Britbox, Masterpiece Theater), Netflix, Hulu, Disney+?

I want funny movies or classics. It is hard wading through the saccharine muck that looks like Hallmark Channel's cloning machine barfed all over the streaming services. I want to feel the vibe from childhood, from the original Grinch, Rudolph, Frosty, Charlie Brown, etc., or from funny movies like National Lampoon and Elf.

Wait, I don't know when you'll see this or when I'll be back so please recommend non-Christmas movies too.

I love The Family Stone, with Diane Keaton, Craig T. Nelson, Luke Wilson, etc. Give it a shot.

Hi VG! And Bubblwrap!

Also, it’s no Bloodsport but Avengememt on Netflix is a quality B-movie action movie.
