Steer clear, Big Tuna. Head for open waters.

Am I the only one who keeps reading that episode title as a hunt for a gay witch? Yeah, I probably am. Be interesting to see how they'd work that plot into the storyline, though, no?

Sep 18th 2006

Looking forward to reading your recap, James. I didn't discover this site until mid-June so this will be the first time I read one with a new episode fresh in my mind. Hoping the JPI reads UP.

When I first saw the title of this, I thought "isn't it a bit early for the Halloween episode?" ;-p

Ditto, ditto & ditto, JLJ.

The new episode is the only thing getting me out of bed this week. Each morning will be one day closer to the time when I can find out what has happened between Jim and Pam. Please, please, please Office writers - don't break my heart!!!

Sep 18th 2006

I have faith in the writers. (Knock on wood.) Next to the whole JAM issue, I'm extremely excited to find out just how Michael stumbles on Oscar's little secret.

Sep 18th 2006

NO SPOILERS in this thread, please. I purposely averted the Ben Silverman interview, but Livejournal comments may have spoiled me anyway (Damn you, livejournal! Why did i have to see that last comment while trying to make one of my own?!!)

Sep 18th 2006

Oops! Sorry, TWSS-won't do that again!

Sep 18th 2006

I'm always looking for new spoilers. I need something new everyday before Thursday for my Office addiction.

This better not be a long week...

This day feels like Christmas, only you have to pretend that it's a normal day until the evening...

I hear ya. My productivity level is quite low today. I saw the Austin myspace screening of Borat last night (file that under the "funniest, most outrageous movie ever" category for the time being). That's not bad on its own, but I left work early to drive from Houston, and I didn't get back home till 2:40 in the morning. And the promise of greatness tonight is just too much for me to concentrate on work. Fortunately, there isn't much work to be done at the moment...

Sep 21st 2006

I had a short day at work today, so the rest of it I'm pretty much reserving for sitting around waiting anxiously. That, and patrolling around Angela's myspace waiting for her prop giveaway. You know, when I right it out, it's pretty sad.

I'm extremely jealous, I can not WAIT for that movie. Saw the trailer before Talladega Nights and I don't think I stopped laughing the whole time.

And count me in with those getting absolutely no work today. In fact, make that all week.

Sep 21st 2006

Lucky you, UR! I keep trying to think of a way to cut the day short, but I can't. Maybe I could leave a cheese pita in the toaster oven. But then I'd just have to stand around outside and play "Who Would You Do?" in the parking lot.

Sort of fitting, in a way...it's too much for them to concentrate on work most of the time too.

I keep trying to think of a way to cut the day short, but I can't.

Maybe it's for the best. "If I go home now I'll just drive myself crazy..."

Less than 6 hours now.
I'm ready to go.............that's what she said.

Sep 21st 2006

So my roommate asks tells me that one of his female friends is having a birthday and asked me if I'd like to come along tonight. While I normally would jump, nay leap, nay FLY into the opportunity to hang with fifteen lovely ladies, I hesitated DUE TO THE OFFICE PREMIERE. Understandable to the fine folks on this board, I'm sure, but still a little awkward to admit out loud.

But don't worry. I shall take part of the birthday festivities, but with the intention of bailing out early with the excuse that I have to work in the morning. Which is true (I work at Starbucks and must open at 4 am) but, let's face it, it's mostly to catch the premiere.

Oh, the things we do for a TV show.

Sep 21st 2006

You should have had the ladies come over to watch The Office, Unflinchingly Rigid.

Sep 21st 2006

Ironically, it is my 21st birthday today, and I'm not doing anything. The Office reigns supreme.

Sep 21st 2006

Now that's devotion, Trent! Happy birthday, by the way. Did you remember the doughnuts?

Sep 21st 2006

Ughhhhh.... I am jealous that in 18 minutes from now, most of the country will be watching the Office. And I have over 3 hours to go out here on the west coast. I have been trying to decide how to fill my time, because I have to stay off of NA until then.
I think watching Casino Night is a definite yes, but after that I'm not too sure. It is mighty tempting to find out from you all in a short while, but I think I'm going to have to save the surprise for myself so that I can scream my screams of joy at the appropriate time. Agggggggghhh...its a 3 hour wait.....this is so hard! (TWSS)

Sep 21st 2006

I'm new to this site, but hang out on the nbc.com/theoffice forum alot. cant wait to see what transpires with a title like that one. i'm in AZ so have a few more hours. i'll avoid the forums until i see it.

Sep 21st 2006

I won't ruin anything for those who have yet to see the season 3 premiere...all I'll say is I found it to be a very enjoyable episode - well worth the wait.

Sep 21st 2006

I too am on the west coast sigh I was worthless at work today so far as productivity, but did manage to jam the main copier/fax/printer--inconveniencing a great many coworkers--trying to download fanfic from More Than That to kill time before the show. Whoops ;)

Sep 21st 2006

The moment between Dwight and Oscar, after Michael and Oscar's awakward moment in the conference room.......roflmao

That's all I have to say about that.

Sep 21st 2006

Entire episode had me in stitches.

Sep 21st 2006

Totally awesome. Ed Helms was hilarious I thought.

Sep 21st 2006

I need to go on record as being officially wrong. I didn't think they would actually let Jim leave. I guessed they showed me.

Gay porn, straight porn - it's all good.
