"I'm looking for a gay nerd named Michael Scott"
"Where did you get this number?"
"From your Mom, you gay nerd."
I so prefer Todd Packer to Chris Finch. But really, that "package" he left on Michael's carpet was just nasty.
My favorite Todd Packer moment so far is actually not something that Todd Packer said, but the part where Michael says, Todd Packer can do anything and you hear Jim say on the sly, "Except pass that breathalizer."
Moments like that are why I love this show.
I'd like to see more of Todd Packer in the Office. He's such a great complement to Michael. Michael idolizes the way they acted together, and you get the feeling Todd is really just a huge obnoxious bully that Michael gets along with to seem cool and with it.
I'd like to see a 2-3 episode stretch where Packer has to return to the Office straight-through. We could be talking a lot of drama...I mean, a LOT...OF....DRAMA.
Whats up my nerds???
I definately hope the Pack Man returns by the end of the season.
David Koechner (sp?)was a perfect pick for this role. I didn't find him that funny when he was on SNL, but roles on Anchorman, Waiting, and the Office have made him HILARIOUS.
"What's up ma' nerdz" has become my favorite quote---My friend and I literally YELL it down the hall at each other in school, across the volleyball net in gym, walking into our art class, etc etc--it's fabulous!
I first saw him in Out Cold, I thought he was hilarious in that movie, the movie itself could use some work though.
It would be great to see Michael/Packer hanging out at a bar or dance club. They could meet a set of twins and Packer could nail them both, as a joke. It would be hysterical.
Since we were talking about SNL, I thought I would mention, I completely did NOT know David Koechner was on SNL. Only for a year, I think, but I sure don't remember him.
ETA: Nobody's commented in this thread for over a year! Wow.
Holy shnikeys, I meant to post that too today. I still don't think he's that funny in anything, but that's another topic.
Hey. I miss Todd Packer. I know he elicits a love him or hate him kind of response from most viewers, and I'm in the former camp. I want him to come back. Anyone know if he will be making a S4 appearance?
Not to be sarcastic or anything, but isn't the answer to that question just an imdb search away? I'd do it for you but I'm a nerk about such spoilery things.
Oh. Sorry about that. I didn't know I could find out that information on IMDB. And to be honest, I just don't think of going to that site.
Either way, my bump could still serve the extra purpose of restarting a conversation about a great Office character. Or not. I don't know.
It's not a guarantee it'll be on the site, but sometimes if an actor is already scheduled to appear in upcoming episodes, it will say. And sometimes some yahoo on the message board for the actor has heard something.
Hey. I miss Todd Packer.
I can't believe I agree with that. Even weirder is that something nearly prompted me to say so earlier tonight. His movie with Melora Hardin got an F from EW. I've never seen an F there before. I'd like to see Packer just to get a little of that classic vibe going.
I thought he was good in Thank You For Smoking. Hopefully he comes into some movie successes in the future.
I miss Todd Packer too. I miss his scent. When this all blows over I might get an apartment with him. I may have to watch Sexual Harrassment soon for a Packer fix.
The Comebacks looks like it could be the worst movie ever. And I'm not saying that to exaggerate or make a point. I think it could literally be the worst movie ever. Even worse than Envy.

Hey, um, AMJ, you might want to stop talking for a while. Sit the next few plays out. I miss Packer too though - he's so delightfully obnoxious.
Almost another year with no comments here. I'm jonesin' for some Packer. How about we start a petition to bring back David Koechner?
Hey Long Tim, I read some news about David Koechner, ie. Todd Packer on Tansters synopsis of Paley Fest. Here's the gist of it:
They would love to have David Koechner back to reprise his role as Todd Packer but it’s hard because he has such a busy schedule.
Someone asked about Todd Packer — they said David Koechner is a busy guy but they would love to get him back. Due to scheduling conflicts, he can never find time to be in the show. “Which is a shame, because we were going to finally have Michael come out on the show.”
So there you have it. It's not bad news, but it's not good news either.
So...what does Dave Koechner DO exactly that keeps him so busy? Are there like, 10 Will Ferrell movies coming out soon that we haven't heard about yet?
True. He won’t be around soon and that’s a bummer but I did read in another Paley fan account that Mindy wrote some lines for Gene and Lee in her episode for this season. That’s great news for me because I kind of have a teeny crush on them.
I'm looking for some upcoming episodes with Todd "Fudge" Packer. In fact, I demand it. I don't even care if he ends up on Parks and Recreation or Better Off Ted. Just bring back Michael's BFF.

In addition to my above post, I'd like to say that at least the first 15 minutes or so of The Comebacks lives up to AMJ's prediction.
