Happy Birthday, Daoust!!

Jan 6th 2011

Hey Daoust! Happy Birthday!

Jan 6th 2011

Happy Birthday, Daoust!

Jan 6th 2011

It is your birthday.

Jan 6th 2011

Best wishes, Daoust!

Jan 6th 2011

Happy B-day Daoust. Sorry about the hockey game though.

Jan 6th 2011

I assume the theme is Canada?

Jan 6th 2011

Some sensitive Canadians commenting there. I though British troops burned down the White House. They were Canadian? If so, I'm pissed about it all over again.

Jan 6th 2011

They didn't technically burn it down, did they? Significant damage, yes. Burned to the ground? I don't think so.

Jan 6th 2011

OK, I'm less pissed then.

Jan 6th 2011

I think Canadians were British back in those days. So, not their fault. It's almost like they were still kids at the time.

Jan 6th 2011

They were, true. Still, seems like a stretch to take credit for it.

Jan 6th 2011

Well, it's something that Canadiens are taking credit for, so "stretch" is kinda a given.

Jan 6th 2011

They are taking life and the internet way too seriously.

Jan 6th 2011

Happy birthday, Da-ooo. May the day begin with poutine and end with beaver.

Jan 6th 2011

Happy happy, D!

The most recent spat of comments on this page started well, but ended poorly. Regardless, my heart soars with the eagles nest.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes.

Where's my birthday hug?

Where's my recorder version of For The Longest Time by William Joel?

Where's my strippergram? Oh well. VG's link will have to suffice.

Fun fact. I share my birthday with Syd Barrett and Danny Pintauro, So I have a perfect icebreaker if I ever meet Alyssa Milano.

Things have been pretty tame, though. Kinda boring actually. However it's not my worst birthday ever. We didn't get a horse or anything. Nor did we get an eight foot sub, or eight one foot subs. But it's just been kinda normal. I guess turning 32 isn't really a cause for big celebration. Which I get.

But thank you anyway, peeps! I appreciate it.

Heeeeyy....

Jan 6th 2011

Haha. I didn't mean you, e*. I was more referring to the Canada bashing. Which, now that I think of it, you were a part of. I take back taking it back.

Jan 6th 2011 edited

Ah. Well, technically, I was riding the coattails of someone else's Canada bashing. To make up for it, here's a cake just for you (pretend the numbers are flipped).

Jan 6th 2011

Haha. What an unfortunate moniker.

Jan 6th 2011

Yeah, Ames is a stupid name.

Jan 6th 2011

A friend of mine put this link on my FB page tonight, and it probably made me the happiest I've been all day. If I remember, I'm going to link to this every time someone has a birthday here from now on.

Jan 6th 2011

That is awesome.

Jan 6th 2011

Bon an -ee ver sare duh too luh moaned, ee see, ohs eh taz unee!

Suddenly, I'm reminded of this:

Jan 6th 2011

Hey, I did no Canada-bashing. I wished you french fries with gravy, and sex!

Jan 6th 2011

Well, it's something that Canadiens are taking credit for

The Habs burned down the White House?
