That's really awesome, Jinx. I always hoped that if we decided to bring up our kids with exposure to different religions that we'd be able to find leaders like that.
A good priest really does make a big difference. The last one we had was awful, and one of the reasons I didn't go as much five years ago. He was rude and effeminate, which is a difficult combination for a priest. (I really don't care if my priest is gay...I assume a lot of them are...but I don't want them effeminate) He was also busted for DWI several times. I know he drove away a lot of long time parishioners.
Also, we have a nun working in our church now, and although my initial impressions of her were not positive, I've grown to really really like her a lot. She is such a godsend (heh...literally) for our community.
