hi i'm a dude and it just seems like us guys are vastly outnumbered is this true or not?
I have never gotten that impression, but I don't actually know. There's an awful lot of talk about baseball, however.
We're still waiting for our Northern Attack Census forms as decreed in Executive Producer Order 02x20.
I think it's pretty even. True, many of our more prolific and eloquent posters are women. But there are plenty of men around to wax lewd about Pam's breasts.
Dwight's in charge of the census - you might see what you can tell from the 'introductions' forum - though there are lots of intros from people that you rarely see here -
I like not knowing! I mean, I like knowing posters first and foremost by what they say, what they think and how they feel, instead of by the roles they happen to play in regular life (boy, girl, rich, poor, etc.). Not that I don't enjoy getting clues about people's lives too (in fact it helps a lot for keeping everybody straight), but I really love the candor and liberty we enjoy posting on an anonymous internet forum. It's a World Wide Wonder.
I'm with Wink. I like the fact that we all know each other by what we write and who we are. NA is probably the best internet forum community I've been a part of. You're all so well-spoken and respectful. Everyone is welcome, old friends, new lovers, and the disabled!
(My proposed title for this thread: "I love girl talk.")
I agree with everything Second Base says, except for one thing. I appreciate that this forum keeps the gooey girl talk to a minimum. I know I have provided some scary biological descriptions myself, but we've never lapsed into ordinary bitching and moaning about cramps and bloating and yearlies and I am grateful for it.
Sorry I was unclear. I didn't intend to encourage/discourage girl talk. I just thought it would be a funnier title, since one of the things I really like about NA is all the clever thread titles.
yearlies
I'm a married man. I've...been with a woman. Yet I dont' think I know what this means. My guess? It involves a doctor, a swab and stirrups. But I could be way off.
Anyway, I'm off topic.
I'm a man, but sometimes, when I watch this show and there are those amazing moments like in Casino night, or Beach Day, or The Job, well, I feel a little girly.
I think it's safe to say, Daoust, that the show brings out the girly in all of us. Or not. At any rate, I'd like to keep my gender anonymous if it's OK with you all.
I like not knowing!
I thought our dear Antipodean moderator Mixed Berries was a girl for the longest time. Then I couldn't decide for a while. Finally, I saw a picture, and that removed all doubt.
Brian is short for Brianna?
Actually, it's code for Susie.

Um...
Removed all doubt huh? That still doesn't confirm if you think I'm a girl or not!

Actually, it's code for Susie.
It is, but Susie is code Lloyd Dobbler.
Yeah, I don't like revealing my gender either, Brian.
I am actually very VERY happy with the balance in here. I hate forums that seem like they get overrun by fangirls the same way a dirty kitchen can become overrun by roaches. ;)
I'm either a guy or a lesbian with a crush on Jenna Fischer. You all can decide which image you like better.
I like to think of you as a lesbian who bears a resemblance to Mark McGwire.
This is a funny thread. Also:

Ah ha ha ha.
What is our count now? Asd?
I can't believe this thread didn't get shut down early on.
Yeah, it's giving me an itchy trigger finger. Whatever happened to Emmyjean, by the way?
Asd, put the answer in the Posting Stats thread, because I made that thread and it is awesomer.
I im guy. Wait! (Checks pants) Yes, yes Definetly a guy.
That is one very unintentionally funny comment right there.
