But, yeah, it doesn't sound illegal to me. Remember, I have absolutely no knowledge.

I want you on my defense team.

May 27th 2015

Actually, Jinx, I did google it just now, in an effort to become more knowledgeable. It didn't work.

Unless the Illuminati is, in fact, just inventing this trouble, to distract everyone while they create WMDs. Or something.

I don't know, man. I'm sticking with Costanza.

I don't trust any organization that won't put its sport's initial in its acronym.

Chuck Blazer was a local guy. Still don't care.

May 28th 2015

I'm fascinated with this story precisely because I don't care a whit about it, and I'm wondering why it's taking valuable headline space away from Princess Charlotte and whatever actress is now dating a trans-gender Baltimore rioter.

May 28th 2015

I'm pretty sure that's all one story.

And bribery is whatever the law says it is. For instance, it's not that a politician can't sell his vote. He just has to sell it according to the rules.

The Mets are in the World Series starting tonight. That is all.

Oct 27th 2015

The Mets

That's still going on?

Oct 28th 2015

I'm glad I follow a baseball team that never threatens to make it to the World Series. Less heartbreak.

After watching the Seahawks implode I don't have much room to judge, but Bri, what the hell was Coughlin thinking at the end of that game yesterday?

Nov 18th 2015

I was happy that bath time/bedtime for my wee one coincided with that brutal ending. So, I don't know other Han at clock management is a longstanding Giants weakness.

It was almost as bad as throwing a slant pattern on the one yard line. Almost.

I like that the Cleveland Brown just fire everyone every season, then wonder why their organization is wrought with instability. Perhaps it's time to fire the practice of firing.

When Jenna Fischer flies into St. Louis for a Blues game, they lose.

That's what she said!

Congrats to the Blues.

When I first read about them using "Gloria" for a victory song, I assumed it was the Van Morrison/Them song. So I thought, that's pretty cool. Of course, now that I know it's the Laura Branigan song, it seems incredibly lame.

The Christmas song?

Since this place is one where important historical markers are recorded and sometimes discussed, I want to make it known that yesterday, Thursday, June 13, 2019, the Toronto Raptors won the NBA Championship. Recently, the Raptors surpassed the Leafs and the Blue Jays as the most profitable franchise in the city. That's saying something.

Jun 14th 2019

There were a lot of nice stories in the Raptor's year...I like Pascal, Masai, Gasol. A lot of international flavor, in a very international city. And naming the park outside the stadium "Jurassic Park"? Genius.

Drake was probably the only thing I didn't like about the Raptors. Just because he owns a company that makes cupcakes and Ring Dings doesn't give him the right to prance around like that.

I'm really curious to see what Kawhi will do next year. I have a feeling he always wanted to go back to his home in SoCal, but how do you walk away from Toronto now?

Also, Toronto is the closest NBA city to me, so hopefully I can go see them next year!

It is Tuesday, June 18, 2019, and this is honestly the first I’m hearing of this. I knew the Blues won, but that means even less to me. Not a knock or a snark on either. More a comment on how withdrawn I am from things that once interested me.

It's Wednesday.

I used to like Reptar, too.

Ahem.

After having the Sonics stolen from Seattle, I haven't kept up with the NBA beyond the headlines. I do know that the Warriors deal with the devil came due during the finals.
