What... Jan being.... human?

Oct 18th 2007

Dwight's back!

Oct 18th 2007

Well, im just quad posting or something to that point right now. But as this season continues, the quality just increases and increases. It's just sooo good right now.

Oct 18th 2007

Again, Jan takes a moment from being obsessive and neurotic and displays some redeeming qualities.

I'm really passionate about this show. In fact, I'm in love with this show.

Oct 18th 2007

Upside mom, that scene with Jim and Dwight in the stairwell and the following "I'm in love with Italian food" scene- by far my favorite of the season so far. Maybe I'm just too hormonal lately, but I was so touched by that scene.

Oct 18th 2007

I love Italian food!

And I looooooooooooooooooooove this show.

Oct 18th 2007

The episode description said Michael was going to hit everyone up for money. But I don't remember him asking anyone for money, just advice. Am I wrong?

You're right, but I'm glad he didn't. Though who knows what the deleted scenes might show.

I loved "Runaway Train" and "Tuscan beet farm!" I was dying laughing in so many scenes, but so many parts of this one made me want to cry too.

Andy is a Garbage thief! He must be stopped! I know the show needs foils, but come on! And Angela had to have known that was Garbage, too. What a bitch.

Loved Creed and the debt-ridden alter ego, William Charles Snyder, was it? Must go back for a re-watch.

I felt so bad for Michael having to leave a job where he was respected by his coworkers. He may not have made many sales, but he made friends. It's better than improv; remember how they wouldn't let him come to go out drinking with them?

They continue to amaze. Great job, guys.

Oct 18th 2007

Any scene with Dwight in the stairwell is automatically good. Tonight was no exception.

Oct 18th 2007

This was such a serious episode. I mean of course I laughed too, but a lot of it was very sad and serious. However, I still liked it a lot and I need to rewatch it. And I'm glad this show can get serious without being "Tonight, a very special episode of Blossom" - ish.

It's not just you. I didn't get a lot of sleep this week, and work has left me exhausted. And when I get tired I get over-emotional. And that episode just pushed all my buttons. I'm wondering if it seems better than it was because right now it really seems like the best episode so far this season, though maybe not the funniest or most eventful. There was just a good, heartfelt vibe about it. That's not to say it wasn't funny: i.e. Mose jogging alongside the car and then, later, in the pooper outside.

Question: Was that a poster of Angela on Dwight's bedroom wall behind Jim when he walked in.

Oct 18th 2007

Tonight's episode was probably the best of the hour-long ones. Michael was not over the top like he has been the past couple of weeks. Everyone seemed a lot more real. Dwight and Jim (and Michael, actually) all made me want to cry. Andy is finally growing on me, but I really hope his dinner date with Angela sucks. Poor Dwight and his abnormal weep-moaning.

Yay for JAM!! :) :) Pam seems really excited about their relationship, but we have yet to hear if she's in love with him. We didn't really need to hear about how Jim loves her...we've known that for years. I feel like if they introduce a JAM problem (which will probably happen because this is just too good), it will be Pam's fault.

Michael was the cool guy at his second job. They all wanted to hang with him. He could have been chief of surgery back home.

Am I the only one rooting for Andy with Angela?

All aboard the Andgela train! If only for the songs.

Oct 18th 2007

Oh my gosh no, no Andy and Angela! Any do NOT invent a nickname for them. Please.

Oct 18th 2007

Oh wait. You just did. I didn't even notice. NOOO

Oct 18th 2007

I think this was probably my favorite episode of the season so far.

Hate to admit it, but I could see that. She doesn't seem hesitant to acknowledge her feelings but have we seen her say how she feels? Could there be a latent reticence to express herself, possibly a holdover from being with Roy? Just writing it and seeing it in front of me makes it feel less likely.

Oct 18th 2007

Oh, and I just want to say that I thought Michael's idea of what it means to "declare bankruptcy" was hilarious...and the grammar argument in the conference. I can totally appreciate that.

Oct 18th 2007

Am I the only one rooting for Andy with Angela?

I am also in that camp. I am interested in seeing how that goes.

Darryl was smooth and very cool in this ep. Loved it.

I am so in love with JAM after this episode. Ladies and gentlemen, I put this to you: THAT was the kiss that we've all been waiting for. THAT was the second, real true now-they-are-together and in love JAM kiss.

"Whom" and "whomever" should be abolished from the language.

Michael thinks Jan's implants are cute.

How is she so oblivious to his financial straits. She was his boss. She knows what he earns. And she knows she's spending like crazy despite being out of work. And yet she's so attuned to his sweet, caring side.

Oct 18th 2007

She can't possibly be that oblivious. She's taking advantage of him.

Oct 18th 2007 edited

I dunno, I feel like nothing happened, like I haven't really seen the episode yet, like it never actually started. I was kinda distracted during it, so that's probably just it.

Oct 18th 2007

How much of Michael's financial problems are his fault and how much are Jan's fault? From Powerpoint's magic diagram, it seemed to be mostly Michael's. It can't be long until Jan gets a job.

Oct 18th 2007

It will be quite a while before I recover from the sight of Mose running beside Jim and Pam's car. I can't stop laughing. And I loved it when Jim was listening to Dwight take B&B reservations on the phone at work; at first Jim keeps his own phone next to his ear, as if he's talking, but then he finally gives up, puts his phone down definitively, and looks at the camera with a "this is too good and I have to hear every word so I can't pretend not to listen" look.

This was my favorite episode since "Casino Night," easily. I loved the B&B storyline, I loved seeing Jim and Pam together, I loved the serious moments, and I laughed a LOT.

Doesn't the whoever/whomever conversation in the conference room seem like something we'd discuss here? Have we discussed that before? I know we talk about language and words a lot.

Oct 18th 2007

All aboard the Andgela train! If only for the songs.

Does that mean Andy's next tune will be "Love Train"?

Oct 18th 2007

Seriously, I can watch that conference room scene over and over and over.

Oct 18th 2007

How about Dwight clearing the line of demarcation with his ruler. Such an awesome early comeback. Was that The Pilot? My brain's fuzzy.

Oct 18th 2007

Yes, because it followed with the pencil gag from Jim.
