My name is James. I hail from the great city of Austin, Texas, though I am a Californian at the moment. I still bleed burnt orange.

My current favorite song of all time is No. 13 Baby by the Pixies.

I have too many computers.

I'm very excited to be the first to leave a message! I'm Sandy from NJ. Boys and Girls episode first drew my attention to the show and I ended up watching all the episodes in about 3 days. I'm hooked on Northern Attack, great job James!

NJ smells wonderful! I mean it!

Feb 20th 2006

I'm Patrick and I'm an alc... err... I love the Office, you know.

I hate spreadsheets.

I'm a fan of the BBC original. In my mind, the US version has surpassed it.

Originally from Oak Ridge, Tennessee. I now live in Southern California.

Big thanks to James for this unbelievably 'content rich' site and thanks to NBC for having the guts to renew for the 2nd season.

Word,
Dwigt

James, what a nice surprise. This forum is sweet!! I'm not to far north of you bro, I reside in Dallas. One more thing, I owe you a belated congrats on Texas winning the NC.

I better mention my family - married, 1 precious daughter (9 months old), and 1 cat.

Feb 20th 2006

I'm Jennie (aka tanster). I am not nicer than James. Just as nice, perhaps.

I live with one Mac, two PCs, one man, and one cat. Note the order.

Thank goodness the Olympics are only once every four years. I need my Office.

Feb 20th 2006

My name is also Pat, and I live in the fascinating town of Beacon, NY.

Currently, I am slightly worried about the restraining order Jenna Fischer has against me.

I'm Jamie from Jamestown, North Carolina. I too work as a receptionist and do the whole artist-thing on the side. Sadly, resemblance ends there-- I'm not engaged, I don't have Jim, and my boss actually behaves himself.

The Office won my heart forever in the opening credits of the pilot episode, way back in the day. I haven't yet decided if this is healthy or unhealthy. Oh well.

I like bacon. But not that much.

Feb 20th 2006

Hi everyone! I'm Terri. Like Sandy, I live in NJ (smells fine to me) and I am a huge fan of this show. James, I feel ya on the Texas thing--I lived in San Antonio for twelve years. I miss it. I'm so glad I'm not alone in my office love!

Feb 20th 2006

I'm Jim, from Pittsburgh, PA about 4 hours WSW of SCRANTON, PA.

James, you and your site continue to amaze me. I've been watching the office since day one and this site and your work complement it perfectly. Thanks for all your hard work and for this forum. Hopefully our little trivia game, with edward and lori and whoever else was playing continues here.

James... AWESOME!!!!

Hi Everyone! Thanks James for having a Northern Attack forum!
From Pittsburgh originally, now I live in Atlanta with my husband (also from PGH), our 4 dogs, 5 cats, and 9-month old baby girl. Like many of you, The Office is one of only a few shows worthy of my evening time ( I work full time and prefer to spend evenings with the wee one and hubby). In addition to downloading all season 1 episodes from iTunes, I just purchased season 1 DVD. I think that's a pretty common thing among Office fans!

Feb 20th 2006

Where in Pittsburgh are you from?

Feb 20th 2006

Hey, I'm Tad (well... not really), another New Jersey Office fan. Northern Attack is a great, great site and these forums seem like they could really grow into something special.

Feb 20th 2006

Hello all! My name is Megan, I'm originally from Denver, CO, but I attend school in Tempe, AZ. I happened to catch "The Alliance" when it was originally on, and the image of Jim taping Dwight into a box had me rolling on the floor. I sort of lost track of the show until this season, but thanks to itunes I have now watched all the episodes too many times to count and am hopelessly addicted. My spring break plans include driving to L.A. to stalk John Krasinski. Just kidding. But no, seriously. Thanks for the awesome site, James!

Feb 20th 2006

Hey! I'm Graham, I'm currently residing in the friendly confines of Chapel Hill, and am originally from Mayodan, NC. I saw The Office's first episode back when I was an appointment viewer of Scrubs, and it seemed good, but I didn't really get this big into it until the second season. I'll probably be on here a lot, as I'm a compulsive site checker. I'm really into graphic design, so if the opportunity ever arises to create some graphics, I'll carry that mantle. Woo forums!

Feb 20th 2006

Hey all! I live in Ventura, CA (an hour north of LA). I have a husband, cat, and roommate. I do work in an office. I often answer the phones. And sometimes, I feel what Pam is feeling. Because sometimes, the people I work with are crazy. (Although, I must say, I do have a wonderful boss.) I have been an Office fan since day 1, and was a brit-office fan before that. I really started becoming obsessed with the start of season 2. It's kind of a nerdy obsession at this point, but I'm sure you understand! But I'm excited for the forum! Thanks, James! 'Cause the ice melts, and then it's like, second drink!

I don't know where the comments about NJ started, but I've been there on many occasions to visit my in-laws and it definitely smells like urine. And pot. But maybe that was just the street I was on...

I'm Michelle and I've lived in Charlotte, NC, for the past 12 (!) years, though my heart still resides in the Northeast (I'm thinking someday my body will catch up, but who knows?). Like many, I caught this show by accident (the Christmas episode, I believe) and am now a hopelessly addicted geek about it. I worked in an office for almost 6 years (waaaaaaaaaaaaayyy longer than I expected to) and hated every minute of it, so I totally identify with the misery and the angst of many of the characters (my office wasn't nearly as funny, though I will admist that I was too caught up in the throes of my misery at the time to notice much outside of my own anguish). I love being able to look forward to watching something intelligent on TV every week. And even though I didn't start watching it for this reason, I love the saga of Jim and Pam - the realism, the messiness, the spark that gets them both through otherwise dull workdays. Another dash of reality in the show, I think :-)

Looking forward to the Watercooler!

Invading your Schrutespace, Michelle

"Todd Packer"- I grew up in Monroeville, went to undergrad at Slippery Rock, earned my law degree from Duquesne.

Hi everyone!!! My name is Kath and I run a TV blog called GiveMeMyRemote.com. Big fan of Northern Attack. Congrats James on the launch of the forums. You're going to kill my boards :( But I'm still psyched for you!!!

Oh, I hail from Boston...just a few minutes from John & BJ. My favorite episodes are Diversity Day and The Booze Cruise.

Feb 20th 2006

hey GMMR! It's nice to "see" some familar names around here! In addition to NA, I visit GMMR and TWOP several times a day (sometimes several times an hour!). OK, really, I need to get off this computer....

Feb 20th 2006

Hi there! My name is Jess, and I'm originally from Albany, New York. I used to temp at the Albany branch of Dunder Mifflin, so if you have any company-related questions, please send 'em my way!

... Okay, not really. But I always have to groove a little happy-dance when Albany is mentioned on "The Office". It's a very brief dance, but meaningful all the same! :)

I now live in the perpetually sunny city of Phoenix, Arizona and am 100% addicted to "The Office" and Northern Attack! Favorite episode is The Dundies, and I heart JAM with a fierce passion. Happy to meet you all!

Feb 20th 2006

Hey everyone! I'm Marc and I run TheOfficeQuotes.com. Looks like I'm the first Canadian to sign up- I'm from Ontario. Forums look awesome and I'm looking forward to contributing!

Hi, I'm Nikki.

I've been a fan from the BBC beginnings and I'm beyond obsessed with this show. I'm even considering learning German just to watch Stromberg (the German version), that's not crazy, right? I'm from New Mexico (yes, despite what everybody thinks, that's in the US) I love Northern Attack, and these forums have just made the top of my bookmark list. Oh yeah, I also type up the transcripts for the show. Again, not crazy.

Feb 20th 2006

Nikki, while you're learning German you'd might as well learn French as well: A French adaptation of the series, retitled Le Bureau, is due to air in Spring 2006. I think that's pretty cool.

Feb 20th 2006

Hello, I am Derek. Love Northern Attack. It contains the principles that I carry to work everyday. I hail from BOSTON, near where Krasinkis and Novak are from. First episode I saw and hooked me was THE DUNDIES which is my favorite. JAM. And...that's about it.

Feb 20th 2006

My name is Kalon, and I'm from northern Texas. I'm your archetypical idiosyncratic college student, who happens to be obsessed with this show (and, subsequently, this website). I'm looking forward to rambling on in the forum.

Feb 20th 2006

Good evening. My name is Chip and I live with my wife and kids in a gay friendly neighborhood in San Diego.

Spinal Tap, made me a huge fan of the genre. I love the Christopher Guest movies that followed, and am a big fan of Gervais's original series. I'll admit I was a bit of a snob at the beginning -- The US version just doesn't compare to the BBC version. -- but by the Basketball episode I was hooked.

Feb 20th 2006

I work in a gay-friendly neighborhood in San Diego (near the Park Blvd. & Washington intersection).

I was a big fan of the BBC series as well - never could understand those cockney-rhyming-slang bits though :(

Feb 20th 2006

We live just to the east of there -- Kensington area. I received the BBC version for Xmas, and had to turn on the subtitles.
