A CHRISTMAS PARTY IN MOROCCO— Phyllis' (Phyllis Smith) Moroccan-themed holiday party goes up in flames when Meredith's (Kate Flannery) hair catches on fire and Michael (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) is forced to deal with the accident. Meanwhile, Dwight (Rainn Wilson) corners the market on the hottest toy of the Christmas season. John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Leslie David Baker, Ed Helms, Mindy Kaling, Oscar Nunez, Brian Baumgartner, Creed Bratton, Paul Lieberstein and Craig Robinson also star.
I am too e-star. Do you think this is it for them? I hope not. I love Andy, I truly do, and I think he deserves better, and that D and Angela belong together.
I hope they wrap up the Andy-Angela-Dwight triangle. I mean, what else does a guy have to do? He gave her a ring made out of twine.
I have a feeling we aren't going to see the end of that triangle until February.
Maybe Angela tells Andy that she doesn't want to get married at Schrute Farms anymore, and Andy loses his mind, and dumps Angela.
I really would like to see a heartbroken Angela...that sounds harsh, but what she's been putting Andy and Dwight through is even more harsh, so.....facial, ooooh
The description doesn't really thrill me but they are 2 for 2 with Christmas episodes so I'm going to assume it will be good, and also assume that Pam will be wearing something particularly festive.

I agree.

Well I've been tired of it for several episodes, so...February seems soon for them to resolve it.

It like an episode we've seen before. Maybe a few episodes we've seen before.

Me too, and no it doesn't. Besides deserving it, I think it would be an interesting twist.
Pam will be wearing something particularly festive
By festive, you mean...boobs?
Put me in the camp that wants to see both of the guys dropping Angela. Don't get me wrong. I think her and Dwight belong together but she's been playing both of them so she deserves to be alone for a while.

I had a similar thought.
It would be good to see Angela get more comeuppance than kissing Andy after he had the tuna fish in his mouth.

Yeah, I think they're gonna take this one all the way through spring. It's their big love storyline of the year, and those things always get taken the distance, though we always hope for an earlier resolution. Season 2 got taken all the way to Casino Night. Season 3 got taken all the way to The Job. Season 4 ended with the proposal/tryst double whammy. The storyline may fundamentally pivot at various points (Roy setting a date, Jim getting with Karen), but it'll stay a storyline for the whole season.

I'd be on board for that.
"Plus Angela Kinsey would rock that character shift, the heartbroken Angela."
She would. I'm hoping we see this.
I forgot that my Christmas party for work is this Thursday. Ruh-roh.
Skip it...The Office>your work. Unless, it's mandatory...
I have to wonder what toy Dwight corners the market in, he seems a little too weird to keep up with what would be the hot toy. Unless it's something connected to Battlestar Galactica.
Now, I know many out there feel that Moroccan Christmas sounds like a pretty
bad episode title, but then Benihana Christmas sounded less than promising
when I first heard of it and that turned out to be a classic. Besides, there are a lot
worse themes you could employ for an Office Christmas party. Here are a few:
Darfur Christmas
Lemon Party Christmas
A Denny's Christmas
Chemotherapy Christmas
An Inconvenient Truth Christmas
Cannibal Christmas
Arbor Day/Christmas
A Gary Busey Christmas
A Jan and Michael Fondue Party Christmas
An All Nude Todd Packer Christmas
A Very Special Angela Martin Nutcracker Christmas
The Christmas That Almost Wasn't Christmas
A Karen Homecoming Christmas
Point Break Christmas
Stool Sample Christmas
A That Guy in a Suit with Question Marks on It Who Runs Around Spazzing Out
About How His Book Can Help You Get Money from the Government Christmas
Dyslexic Christmas
A Mose Schrute Down Home Country Christmas
Clamato® Christmas
A Phyllis' Wedding Christmas
A Meredith Stays Sober Christmas
Macarena Christmas
A Pam Goes Back to Art School Christmas
Oooh, oooh! What about an Ann Coulter Christmas?
That would be more like an Anti-Christ-mas.
I refuse to let Ann Coulter make me mad, because that's exactly what she wants. The only way to do that is not to listen.
Point Break Christmas
I am going to write this episode.
MICHAEL: Dunder Mifflin is going to pay me to surf?
100% pure incompetence!
Maybe Angela tells Andy that she doesn't want to get married at Schrute Farms anymore, and Andy loses his mind, and dumps Angela.
That would seem to be a realistic thing. There was definite foreshadowing last week when Andy said that they had to get married there - he'd had it trying everywhere else and didn't want to lose another deposit.
And Angela's not going to want to go and get married there again right?
And Angela's not going to want to go and get married there again right?
It's difficult to tell what the writers are going to have Angela do next.
It's difficult to tell what the writers are going to have Angela do next.
I think that is fairly true to life though, as Angela clearly has no idea what she is going to do next. I mean, the man she doesn't love is trying to do everything to please her, and the man she truly loves just cannot seem to stop screwing up.
