There are final hits and there are final hits. Which one is this to be?

Great googly moogly

Is that Bruce Campbell?

43 minutes is like getting an extra cookie, hardly enough to call it super size...no episode will ever be long enough

You know, I'm not even sure what that's from. My best friend and I have been saying it for at least ten years. Some googling reveals that it may come from a Frank Zappa song.

You know, there's not going to be a new episode on Thursday. There's just...there's not.

May 21st 2007

Not for many Thursdays to come my friend. But together, we will make it through.

I believe they're showing The Convention this Thursday. Better than nothing, am I right?

Ain't no party like a Scranton party, 'cause a Scranton party don't stop!

I really liked The Convention. One of my faves from Season 3. Just watched it yesterday in fact. So I think they picked a good one with which to kick off the slow and painful withdrawal process.

As I recall last summer they were showing one, sometimes two episodesof the Office a night each Thursday night over the summer. If they continued to do that, they could probably show most of S3 over again in repeats. As such, you would think they would revisit most of the shows, and it might even be cool if they did it in sequencial order.

I wonder if they'll just have S3 repeats or if they'd ever go back to S2.

Last summer was a magical summer for me. For it was last summer that my wife and I discovered the Office, in repeats. It was a beautiful time.

I actually don't watch The Office on Thursdays during the summer because I've recorded them all. But I will tune in to the episodes that my DVR cut off the end of so I can re-record them. I make DVD's of the entire season for my family and I'd hate for them not to see things like Dwight's impression of Jim and the bus ride home from The Beach.

May 22nd 2007

I might watch the next few Thursdays just to ease into the withdrawal and also to see how the season might hold up now that I know the outcome. The Convention is one of my S3 faves too, so win-tie.

I want to find another life

May 22nd 2007

I actually like The Convention a lot too, but if I recall correctly, it isn't as much of a "consensus" favorite as other episodes.

Suffering withdrawal? Don't own the S1 or S2 DVDs or want to spend the money at iTunes? Don't want to watch the reruns that are shown inexplicably out of order, loaded with commercials and only aired once every 167.5 hours? Then I've got good news.

For some reason NetFlix has posted full-length episodes from both seasons (all but The Pilot for some reason). Go to the Watch Now section and search "office" to pull it up.

That is very cool, Brian! Is there any place where you can see S3 online? I have bought some of them at iTunes but I don't want to buy the rest AND the DVDs ... which I know I will have to have! I only started watching in January. I bought S1 & S2 but I haven't seen this whole season in order.

Great googly moogly! That's cool...unless you're a Mac person. You need XP or Vista to watch. I own S1 and S2 so, no biggie.

Jun 5th 2007

This lets you play .wmv files (up to version 9) in Quicktime.

Another summer withdrawal aid: fanvids. As linked by OfficeTally, here's the latest fine offering from agentScarn. (In case you didn't go there here's another recommendation that you should.)

I really liked that song GT. These kids are listening to some real hep music these days.

Peace Out Seacrest

nice touch

Jun 5th 2007

wow, top ten is very surprising to me, I guess.

Jun 6th 2007

I completely agreed with #1, but yeah, I thought a couple of the choices were surprising, too.

Surely this is fixed by now. Do Mac people still have that limitation?

Apr 12th 2010

Nope. I just watched Food, Inc. that way.

Sweet.
