What would your episode be?

So if you could write an episode of 'The Office' what would it be about?

My episode idea is that Pam's younger sister comes to visit her. In the episode I would play Pam's sister and I'm actually posting it on my blog on my MySpace if anyone wants to read more about it. I just posted the first part today and I think I'm gonna have it broken down to a total of 3 or 4 parts which I'll post over the next few days. That way it kinda builds up the curiosity of what's gonna happen. Kinda like commercial break-you can't wait to see what happens when the show comes back on!

Somehow Dwight gets the office to go paintballing with him. Pretty much writes itself. Featuring the first appearance of Mose Schrute.

Really creative topic! I always thought a Take Your Daughter to Work Day episode would rock. And then NBC beat me to it! I think I'd enjoy seeing Dwight take Angela for a romantic evening on the beet farm. Also, Stephen Colbert would guest star. I think I might just explode if that happened.

My Episode would be where Jim comes back from his Australian get away only to find that Pam did not get married. She tells him she just couldn't go through with it--and we all know why. hee hee

I'm wondering if a retreat would be a funny episode? We have these "retreats" twice a year, and they are really boring. Anyone who has ever experienced them can probably relate. I can see corporate mandating a retreat, and Micheal trying to take it over (like with Diversity Day).

Yeah, but most stuff that happens in a real office is boring. That's part of the reason I like this show - they don't try to spice it up. It's funny because we're not in the actual situation right then (or we wouldn't see the humor in it, that's for sure), but they don't try to make it spicy or unrealistically dramatic. I can actually feel the boredom of the people in the room. I know they're playing solitaire on the computer, because that's what I used to do. And I know Pam is probably cold at her desk because offices are just...cold. And I used to be cold all the time :-)

As unoriginal as this may be...I am hoping that The US version puts their own spin on the UK's episode where David Brent meets his internet date at a restaurant.

Now that Michael Scott is registered as littlekidlover on some dating website, I think it would be hysterical to see him meet these ladies.

What would I like to see?

Mose pays a visit to the office. Or...

Angela, Phyllis, and Meredith throw Pam a cheesy bridal shower at the office and Michael makes it particularly awkward. Jim saves the day and he and Pam sneak away and hide out on the roof and talk. No kiss, no confessions of love...just talking and bonding and having fun like they used to. It would be the catalyst for Pam realizing she should not marry Roy.

How very coincidental. I just posted a spec script for The Office on SimplyScripts.com. I'd love some feedback from the experts here at northernattack. Find your way to the unproduced scripts section and search for the title "Picture This". (www.simplyscripts.com/scripts/PictureThisOfficeSpecMueller.pdf) Be brutal with your comments. I can take it.

As far as I can tell, there is only one other Office spec posted on SimplyScripts. I thought it was hilarious. Again, it's under the unproduced scripts section with a title of "Dunder-Mifflin: The Smartest Guys in the Room" (http://www.simplyscripts.com/scripts/dunder-mifflin.html)

Enjoy!

Sappy version:
"If there is any reason why these two should not wed, speak now or forever hold your peace".

Michael stands up and tells everyone that Pam can't go through with this because Jim loves her and it makes more sense to marry Jim. Then he makes Jim get up (very embarrased) and prods Jim to talk.

"...come on Jim, tell her how you feel." Jim wants to die from embarrassment, but he has to stand up and talk.

Jim now has the courage to unload his feelings for Pam in front of everyone. Pam breaks down and rushes over to embrace Jim. Roy walks off in the arms of one of the guests unaffected. Jan and Michael get a twinkle, Dwangela get a twinkle and Kelly starts prodding Ryan who slouches down in dispair.

(Or, since we know Pam's mom knows about Jim, she could be the one who gets up and objects. Pam always listens to her mom).

I'm misting up now just thinking about it :-)

I posted the 4th and final part to my episode in my MySpace blog this morning if anyone would like to read it. I'm not really much of a writer so some of it may sound kinda lame/stupid, but I liked the overall idea anyway and had fun writing it out.

I think there should be an episode where someone gets caught posting and frequenting an online website about a television show. Maybe they share it with other people in the office and soon everyone is doing it. Except Toby.

(Okay, three more threads to dig out of the closet here before we can get rid of that closed one at the bottom. Can I get a little help here people?)

So then I should respond to threads near the close threads and not this thread then. I did want to mention I kinda wanted Larissa to come to The Office and not like Pam.

Ah, now I get it. I was wondering why all these old threads were popping up. Anque is da wo-man!

Mar 4th 2008

Do we ever find out who Larissa is? Jim's mother? Or sister? Faithful collie?

Mar 4th 2008

I seem to remember someone somewhere in some interview saying it was his sister. No way I could find that interview again though.
