I did, however, tip my urologist, because⦠I am unable to pulverize my own kidney stones.
Yeah. I can't wait. Any other insides on this episode besides what the NBC site says?
Anyone know when it becomes available on itunes? I thought I heard you could actually get some shows before they air, but I don't believe that was the case with the last episode.
From what I have noticed (since I don't have Tivo, I depend on iTunes for repeat viewings), the episodes always go up between the morning and mid-afternoon of the friday after the episode airs.
You can find Torrents within a few hours after the epidodes air, if you know where to look...
Jenna's TV guide blog is updated! Looks like Pam's not such a good skater....
(Sorry, I still haven't figured out how to post links)
Oh wait: Let me try this:
Nice job with the link Angie. Markdown took a little bit to get used to, but overall it's pretty easy to use.
Let the count down begin: 11:15 min till the new episode! I'm pretty pumped.

From Jenna's TV Blog:
This episode was written by Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg. And like their previous episodes, "The Fight" and "The Secret," my breasts play a central role in one of tonight's scenes.
Another gem:
There are lots of great things in tonight's episode (besides my rack).
Run Jim run!
All of this belongs in another thread.

I DVR the show each week but I also d/l a copy so I can watch it on my PC while I do web updates.
You can (almost) always get a copy from the a.b.tv or a.b.tv.s newsgroups the morning after it airs. Usually the Usenet posts are from the HiDef broadcast so they are in widescreen format.
Oops- sorry Tapper! Should I have posted the link to the blog in Media Mentions? I don't want to mess up the topics.

I am just as guilty since I replied here. I am trying to let James know that we know this topic should be posted elsewhere so if he does move it, we will understand why. We don't want to upset James, our hero :-)
I gotta say, I hope ice skating doesn't devolve into one of those cliched scenes where the just-friends-but-obviously-so-much-more are fooling around & end up falling on top of each other, leading to some contrived moment of realization. You know what I mean? Like where the romantic leads are...play-wrestling or having a tickle fight or something. And then suddenly they're face-to-face and they realize their physical proximity and the mood gets all serious. And then they come to their senses and pretend like it never happened. It's been done waaaay too many times. The office has been so good at portraying a romance in a way that's both true to life and original for television (like the aeons-long pause in Booze Cruise, which I think is way more realistic in that situation than some impassioned speech). Aside from the whole ice-skating thing (which was just a speculation based on Jenna's blog about Pam having to lean on Jim, I just hope the show stays true to the kinds of honest portrayals we've seen so far & doesn't turn to cliched tension-producing situations.
Is it wrong that I am actually keeping an eye on the clock today, just waiting until 8:30 central? Ugh. Nothin' better than an impending new episode of The Office to make someone wish the hours would fly by!
CP, methinks it will be another example of a time were Jim could clearly make a move but chooses not to.

JAM, not only am I watching the clock for 9:30EST, but tonight we have a double shot.
The lovely and talented Jenna Fischer (aka Pam), will be a guest on Jay Leno tonight. I am ready to TiVo both.
Thanks for the info Tapper. Not really a Leno fan, so wasn't aware of this, but will definitely Tivo that sucker.
Approx. 7 hours and counting...
I'm right there with you, Count Chocula and PWJ: that was a phenomenal entry.
And to Angie and Tapper, don't worry about it :). Jenna's weekly TV Guide posts work here in the episode threads as well. I suppose they could be considered spoiler territory, but it's also the day of the new episode, and there's only so much you can do to control all the information floating around. The great thing about this board is that you all are such a considerate group of people. I don't actually have to do a whole of of moderating, which is great... because I can really be a lazy bastard sometimes.
Thanks James! Next time I will remember to also put in a spoiler warning. I guess I didn't think it was much of one, since we already knew that the group was going to a skating rink.
5 hours to go! I'm so obsessed.
No problem. Your link was totally fine, I don't really consider this a spoiler either.

It is really great that Jenna is so willing to keep us all abreast of the situation. Apparently there are some great JAM moments tonight.
This thread has 25 entries and the show hasn't started yet.
We better all be on here at 10:01EST tonight disecting this episode. Fresh memories and thoughts are always best.
Commercial break post.
Angela won't give Dwight any "cookies".
"But what if I'm hungry?"
"No Cookie".
That was hysterical. Did you see Ryan's face on the talking head? He was repulsed (and speechless) at the thought.
Wow... that was such an uncomfortable episode... and that was AWESOME.
More reflections to come after a couple more viewings.
Good episode! Although I wish they had more of the ice skating and showing Jim and Pam together while they were there. The grocery store scenes were funny. I was suprised Pam took Jim up on his dare, then kept going till the gal told her to stop!
